  Responsibilities

  The Sales Manager role is responsible for identifying business growth in New Energy in the geozone by driving alignment in our technological innovation within our product and service offerings and defining and creating opportunities in the new energy/energy transition space across the Company’s client portfolio. They are also responsible for identifying new opportunities outside of the Company’s traditional client portfolio. The role will provide guidance and connectivity between our matrix organization and the client at the geozone level. The role will identify business development opportunities in terms of new revenue streams at the agreed margin profitability to meet agreed targets.

  Roles & Responsibilities

  SAFETY, SECURITY & COMPLIANCE

  Maintains the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring that all activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with Company policies and procedures, relevant laws, regulations, standards and industry practices

  Responsible with being familiar with the Company's Security, Compliance & HSE policies and takes an active role in the compliance & improvement of Weatherfords Management System including meeting all reporting requirements

  Complies with the Company’s Rules to Live By and all applicable rules, regulations and standards that the Company abides by

  Places Quality, Health & Safety, Security and protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers or the communities in which we live and work at risk of loss.

  Seeks continual improvement in Quality, Health, Safety, Security & protection of the Environment, taking into account responsible care, process vulnerabilities, public, customer and employee inputs, knowledge and technology and best business practices to exceed customer expectations

  In a supervisory / management role demonstrates effective safety leadership by being responsible for the health and safety arrangements of all and any subordinates and for any persons visiting them while on the Company premises to enhance the Company’s commitment to safety performance

  QUALITY

  Responsible for being familar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherfords Management System

  Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business

  OPERATIONS

  Supports the development and implementation of the Company’s growth strategy in new energy markets

  Maps the Geozone market, identifying key clients, existing and new, and liaises with Geozopne Sales leadership to agree ownership and responsibility

  Collaborates with Geozone Sales leadership to identify existing sales resources that are engaged with New Energy clients and subsequently supports the overall sales efforts to align with Geozone targets and business development strategy

  Manages the pipeline of new business opportunities and the associated tender execution

  Supports the VP New Energy and Geozone VP for developing sales targets incorporating stretch growth measurements for the short, medium and long term horizon

  Collaborates with the VP New Energy on identifying the business direction for technology development to support and enhance the Company’s growth in the New Energy market.

  Ensures opportunities are entered into the Salesforce system and communicated across the global WFT organization.

  Regularly monitors competitor activity within the field of new energies and has a comprehensive understanding of the market share both geographically and in technology.

  Act as a champion for our digital strategy and how this can benefit clients.

  Identifies new energy solutions for the Company to participate in and compete successfully.

  COMMUNICATION

  Supports and delivers professional communication both internally and externally detailing the Company’s capabilities in New Energy market.

  Collaborates with Marketing function to develop and promote marketing material within the Geozone as well as expand awareness across the Geozones

  Engages multiple levels of the key client organizations throughout their decision-making matrix and strives to successfully execute global level strategy.

  Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal.

  In a supervisory/management role clearly communicates expectations, roles and responsibilities to their reports.

  FINANCIAL

  All employees have an accountability to the organisation to be financially responsible whether they are in charge of a function budget or simply their own expenses.

  Costs incurred should be within approved budget and processed within agreed time frames and following the relevant financial policy and procedure.

  PEOPLE & DEVELOPMENT

  Supports the training and general awareness of the Company’s Sales and Operations personnel to enhance their understanding of New Energy as well as support their ability to identify potential opportunities within their scope of responsibility.

  Employees have a responsibility for developing their own careers within the Company including completing all necessary function training to enhance their skills and experience.

  Employees must complete all assigned Compliance & Company Standards training.

  Employees should engage on a regular basis with their line manager to discuss their personal performance, objectives and opportunities to enhance their skills and experience to support their career potential.

  Employees in a supervisory role are responsible for actively engaging their employees to support talent management through Weatherford’s performance management & coaching tools and processes, including but not limited to talent assessments and succession planning.

  Employees in a supervisory role are responsible for driving strategies for the recruitment & retention of key personal & to foster an environment that enables the Company to attract & retain a high performing talented workforce.

  Qualifications

  Knowledge of Geozone client profiles and ability to engage at all levels of customer hierarchy.

  Experience in New Energy markets (Geothermal/Carbon capture)

  Demonstrated development of contracts, negotiations, and execution

  Successful track record of delivering complex, business projects in challenging environments.

  Excellent experience in development and management of Account Plans & strategies

  Experience in working successfully in a matrix organisation with functions and product lines.

  Excellent knowledge of P&L management including effective capex utilisation

  Demonstrated experience in successful change management, influencing others at all levels internally and with clients.

  Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills & effective communicator of commercial strategies

  Demonstrated resilience, persistence and creative passion in building trust with all stakeholders, particularly when driving change – processes and people.

  Proven skills in sales, operations, and product line management

  Experience in mentoring individuals formally and informally

  Experience in preparing and delivering presentations to senior management internally and externally.

  Logical, methodical, results driven, self-driven, decisive, flexible, determined with a sound business judgment.

  Good technical knowledge of Weatherford product range and oilfield services

  Ability to successfully interact with diverse groups of people in order to deliver innovative solutions to difficult problems.
