　　Job Purpose:

　　The NDT Manager is responsible for the training and qualification of NDT personnel, ensuring that inspections are performed following the applicable technical data and/or standards while providing daily leadership to all technicians within the department. Will perform NDT inspections as required and as needed for training purposes.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Revise NDT and Techniques manuals when technical circumstances demand

　　Ensure the proper training, qualification, and certification of NDT personnel

　　Develop, maintain, and revise all required records to support the training and qualification of NDT personnel

　　Provide overall quality control and monitoring of all NDT technicians for consistency and compliance with all applicable regulatory guidance

　　Maintain NDT lab to ensure compliance with industry standards and company requirements

　　Perform NDT inspections on aircraft and in the lab as required

　　Travel offsite in support of NDT inspections as required

　　Provide leadership to direct reports

　　Perform performance appraisals for all direct reports

　　Skills/Qualifications:

　　NAS-410 level III certification in MPI, FPI, ET, and UT

　　Strong written and verbal communication skills

　　Must be detail-oriented and well-organized

　　Ability to work constructively with other Dynamic Aviation departments

　　FAA Mechanic Certificate (Valid and current FAA Airframe and Powerplant A&P required)

　　Job Experience:

　　High School diploma or equivalent required; college degree through a technical/vocational school is preferred

　　Previous experience performing NDT in Aerospace Industry
