Natural Resources Claims Advocate, London/Chelmsford - Hybrid working
We are recruiting for someone with experience in the Natural Resources claims arena, ideally with emphasis in dealing with Power claims, to join our team on a twelve month fixed term contract.
The role will involve working on accounts with global exposure placed into the London market, requiring hybrid working arrangements, working with our existing team and the broader Aon network.

What the day will look like
Regular liaison with claims colleagues, market experts, our broking teams and carriers in order to provide a first-class level of service to our clients. As a Claims Advocate at Aon some of your key daily responsibilities will include:
Advising and guiding your clients on policy coverage
Leading the claims negotiation process through active Advocacy with clients, insurers, experts and loss adjusters
Leading the claims relationship with major clients, including regular meetings and the delivery of claims reports
Claims data analysis and reporting to identify areas and trends of concern
Aligning with all regulatory requirements and business procedures
Maintaining a robust claims diary with regular reviews
Being actively involved in new business opportunities, including the preparation of tenders and participating in new business pitches when required

Skills and experience that will lead to success include:
Knowledge of natural resources / power market key leaders and adjusters
Technical and complex claims handling experience ideally gained from the London market arena

Proven interpersonal skills dealing with international clients, business colleagues and external bodies.
