The CNA is alsoresponsible for transporting and transferring patients within themedical complex in a safe and efficient manner. The CNA will also assistwith data collection to facilitate the delivery of delegated nursingcare. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Assists with basic care for patients in theareas of nutrition, elimination, comfort, mobility and safety.Transports and transfers patients within the medical complex usingappropriate equipment and utilizing safety precautions as indicated bythe patient\'s health status. Assists nursing staff in lifting andambulating patients using appropriate practice guidelines. Maintainsenvironment and equipment Works collaboratively with the healthcare teammembers to effectively communicate and document accurate informationDemonstrates dependability, organizational skills and effective use oftime by setting priorities to complete delegated work within establishedtime frames in accordance with unit guidelines.
