Summary About the position: This position is located at the Outdoor Recreation Center, RAF Croughton, UK. Employee must have a valid driver's license. This is a drug testing designation position. Responsibilities Operates a variety of vehicles including pickup trucks, panel trucks, flatbed trucks, carryalls, sedans, crew cab pickup trucks, jeeps, and station wagons that weigh up to 10,000 pounds. Transports personnel, supplies, materials, or equipment throughout rural and/or urban areas. Loads and unloads vehicles by hand ensuring cargo is protected from weather and properly distributed and secured to prevent damage or loss in transit. Ensures that equipment being towed does not exceed the maximum weight limit in accordance with local and Federal regulations. Performs operator maintenance and washes vehicles. Completes records and accident reports. Performs other related duties as assigned. Must have knowledge of defensive driving techniques and regulations. Must have skill in securing cargo for transit and knowledge of vehicle weight limits. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must be able to exert light physical effort in reaching, bending, turning, or moving hands, feet, and legs to operate hand and foot controls.
