　　The maintenance technician is responsible for general maintenance in high paced supermarket facilities. Activities include: repairs in basic carpentry, specialty items such as doors, locks, door closures, equipment, painting and general mechanical maintenance work. 　　This is a union position.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:Complete assigned work orders on facility finishes, furnishings and equipment in a timely mannerRespond to emergency requests on an as needed basisMaintains a professional, safe and clean work environmentComplies with all C&W Services and OSHA safety policies and regulationsPerforms other duties as assigned by C&W Services Supervisor assisting other tradesmen, and emergency repairsTracking and reconciling all work orders along with parts used immediately via a PDA systemMaintain company van, inventory and toolsCoordinate restock of vehicleMeeting daily goals(Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Education and/or Experience):Must hold a current state issued drivers license and record in good standingMinimum 3- 5 years experience in commercial/retail facility maintenanceHigh school diploma or technical school certification. Ability to organize and schedule one's own work assignments.WORKING CONDITIONS and/or PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:In addition to tolerating a variety of conditions, you need to be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and be able to push or pull 50 pounds daily.Must be able to climb ladders and work at elevated heights and on roof tops.C&W Services offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefit package.#INDSkilledTrades
