Job Description
BAE Systems is looking for a well-qualified professional to join our team in support of Program Acquisition for the MK21A Reentry Vehicle Development Program as required by the warfighter, Air Force Global Strike Command. This position will work directly with the government customer and prime contractor in identifying, prioritizing, and developing cost, schedule and performance implementation plans to inform acquisition strategies and facilitate Mk21A development and integration across multiple platforms, to include the Sentinel weapon system and W87-1 warhead. Job location will be at Hill AFB, Utah.
The successful candidate has demonstrated experience with strong leadership in program management and the ability to work with cross-functional teams resolving ambiguous situations through program management best practices and innovation.
Responsibilities include assisting the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) Ground Based Strategic Deterrent Directorate Mk21A Materiel Leader and ISC program manager in coordinating projects and their associated requirements detailed in Department of Energy (DoE) and United States Air Force (USAF) requirements, directives and instructions. The Program Manager is responsible for program tasks and is accountable to the government for the technical quality, content, and results of all projects.
Additional responsibilities include risk management while providing weapon system expertise in conducting integrated engineering-level assessments of analysis, production, verification, validation, operation, maintenance, and problem resolution processes as part of the program development cycle and to identify and mitigate design, production, and test deficiencies that could impact successful development.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree and 10 years professional experience.
Demonstrated experience supporting DoD or DoE acquisitions programs.
An active U.S. Government Secret security clearance or higher, and the ability to obtain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
Proven experience supporting cross-department communications and collaboration.
Risk Management.
Self-directed; works independently, familiar with Air Force and Government processes.
Well organized; drives task to closure.

Prefer current Sentinel program experience and facility access.Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $103590 - $176130
