Climax Molybdenum is the world's leading producer of molybdenum and has along, successful history of doing business in a safe, highly efficient andsocially responsible manner. We have operated in Colorado for more than 100years and today have mining and milling operations near Leadville, Kremmlingand Empire. Our Climax mine is located between Frisco and Leadville. OurHenderson mine and mill are an hour's drive apart - separated by theContinental Divide and a 15-mile conveyor system (10 miles isunderground). The Henderson mine is about 50 miles west of Denver and 10miles west of Empire, and the mill is located between Dillon and Kremmling.

　　DescriptionEmployee who under general supervision safely performs duties related to theproduction of copper and/or molybdenum concentrates in the Mill at a highlyskilled level.

　　Completes duties within the Mill process which could include tasks withinthe following areas: fine crushing plant, COB, ball mill, roughers,cleaners, flotation cells, moly plant, copper moly thickeners, tailingthickeners, and mill control roomTakes process readings and makes necessary process changes or adjustmentsUses electronic process monitoring system to monitor conveyor, plantsystems and equipmentPerforms start-up and shut-down of plant or related systemsMentors and trains other employeesActs as Fill-in Supervisor as neededOperates processing equipment and makes adjustments as neededPerforms basic maintenance on processing equipment and reports maintenanceissuesMay operate mobile equipment such as front-end loaders, forklifts,skid-steer loaders, and overhead cranesPerforms area housekeeping duties and may perform work area and safetyauditsPerforms other duties as requiredQualificationsMinimum Qualifications-Two (2) years of experience in Mill Process Operations- Knowledge of the wet grind system and flow systems through mill andflotation area- Knowledge of the filtering and drying process- Knowledge of placard system to accurately identify hazardous materials- Knowledge of environmental policies and responsible for reporting anyissuesand/or concerns- May be required to complete HAZMAT training as required by Department ofTransportation (DOT) regulations
