  Softjourn is looking for a Middle UI/UX Designer. Project involvement 2 months.

  About the project:

  Requirements:

  2+ years of professional experience in design;

  Experience with the Figma app ;

  A systems-level understanding of all the solution parts (technical systems, frontline employees, touchpoints, etc ) that go into delivering a service, coordinated to support customer journeys;

  Demonstrated experience and high-level proficiency in visual design such as layout, color, typography, and interaction;

  Deep understanding of all aspects of UX, with a pulse on the latest developments;

  Expert understanding of UX methods and when to apply them effectively;

  General knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop;

  Having a portfolio of design capabilities;

  Ability to understand and articulate visual design concepts, methodologies, and processes and is able to leverage solutions based on project constraints;

  Proficiency with industry-standard design tools for user interface design and prototyping;

  Thorough understanding of the challenges of complex web and native mobile experiences;

  Experience in Wireframing and prototyping;

  Ability to clearly present and articulate design decisions, participate in peer design critiques, and incorporate feedback into the next iteration;

  Understanding of Service design;

  Knows and uses platform guidelines and patterns (web, mobile, desktop);

  Proactivity and flexibility;

  At least an Upper Intermediate level of English.

   

  Will be a plus:

  Experience with Agile, Clarity Design system;

  Experience visualization frameworks;

  Experience in the Financial services;

  Understanding of CSS/HTML/JS capacities;

  Bachelor’s degree/Masters Degree in Arts and/or Design or related field, or equivalent experience;

  Team player attitude and a sense of humor;

  Curious, independent, creative, analytical, and wants to solve big problems.

   

  Responsibilities:

  Synthesizing research input and user data into user journeys and design concepts;

  Defining problems and solving them using an evidence-based rationale;

  Craft pragmatic solutions for complex problems that stand up to rigorous testing;

  Think about systems and the people using them, how they feel about their experience, not just the user interface;

  Designing creatives & marketing materials such as banners, pages and presentations, articles, illustrations for webinars, and newsletter images about products;

  Collaborating with other  product managers, developers, business stakeholders, and others to deliver the best design solutions;

  Collaborating with our research, data, engineering, product, and design teams to create the ultimate seamless, delightful, well-rounded, and coherent experiences;

  Presenting ideas clearly and effectively;

  Being attentive to detail, architectural on approach to web/mobile design;

  Understanding how to make something both beautiful and insanely functional;

  Detailing your concepts based on business needs, user needs, and engineering feasibility. Research, prototype, and design user experiences based on provided product requirements;

  Producing deliverables such as design mock-up prototypes, design assets, and designing documentation;

  Participating in design feedback and critiques;

  Presenting and articulate design decisions to design leads and product owners;

  Collaborating with product managers and engineers to troubleshoot and explore alternatives;

  Exploring and innovating new user experiences within the product;

  Identifying and establishing design objectives for projects;

  Advocating and identifying user research for projects;

  Actively seeking to understand the usability impact of design solutions in qualitative/quantitative ways;

  Ability to follow defined design guidelines and best practices to ensure a consistent and intuitive experience;

  Preparing compatible images, sources, or guidelines for a development team;

  Sketching or drawing to communicate complex visual ideas quickly;

  Providing project scoping, planning, and estimation.
