　　We are currently seeking a MicroStrategy Administrator with AWS Experience (Remote) to join our team Remotely in, Canada (CA).

　　Position Description:

　　In the role of MicroStrategy Administrator, you will lead the administration and maintenance of MicroStrategy servers from OS and MicroStrategy tool perspective. You will also play an important role in capacity planning & monitoring, and performance tuning for MicroStrategy infrastructure. You will be needed for defining and implementing the procedures for migration of MicroStrategy application and configuration objects from QA to production. 　　Responsibilities:

　　Perform MicroStrategy security and administration for all internal and external users including the creation/modification of MicroStrategy roles, LDAP groups, and user interface portals. Handle the implementation, testing, and documentation of new and updated MicroStrategy reporting/Configuration packages to be moved into the staging/production environment. Implement patches and other day-to-day MicroStrategy content administration tasks including creating folders/reports/users and migrating reports/folders/users from Dev to QA to Production. Support all MicroStrategy configuration requirements for new clients and client database migrations including working with DBAs to set up and test new data sources used by MicroStrategy, creating new MicroStrategy security roles, and setting up new user security and reporting interfaces for users. Assist internal and external clients with demos and troubleshoot problem reports. Support developers by troubleshooting reporting issues related to MicroStrategy configurations and/or cubes/reports/dashboards. Set up the web interface for MicroStrategy, including building Application Server instances e.g. WebSphere profiles, deployments, WebAdmin configurations Set up Operations Managers and Enterprise Manager set up Set up monitoring and alert notifications for key performance indicators for the MicroStrategy infrastructure. Hands-on experience on Report and Dashboard development

　　Requirements:

　　At least 10 years of experience in Business Intelligence At least 8 years of experience with MicroStrategy Hands-on experience in Installation, configuration, and deployment of MicroStrategy tools and clients. Experience in AWS or cloud platforms is desirable. Strong in SQL query writing. Additional experience in administering Data Catalog Tools like Alation would be an added advantage. Experience in SQL troubleshooting, report failures, project and Intelligence server-level governing settings and their impacts. Be conversant with the tools in the MicroStrategy suite e.g. Developer, Command Manager, Architect, Object Manager, License Manager Experience in Capacity sizing/Planning of MicroStrategy infrastructure components Hands-on experience with Linux/UNIX operating systems. Experience in SQL troubleshooting, report failures, project and Intelligence server-level governing settings and their impacts. Hands-on experience in creating dynamic dashboards, visualizations using dynamic dashboards, and metrics auditing.
