　　The Role

　　Responsible for Submarine Fleet Support as the Test manager. Acts as an advisor to subordinate supervisors or staff members to meet business, planning, administrative, training, and test efforts. Helps manage and resolve technical or operational problems on assigned projects. Develop and administers budgets, schedules, and performance standards. Oversees development and implementation of testing methods and equipment. Arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing. Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements.

　　Must Have

　　Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering and design; Master's Degree and 6 years of relevant experience; PhD and 4 years of relevant experience.

　　Newport News Shipbuilding requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.
