Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Medical Receptionist in Little Rock, Arkansas. In this role, you will be working in a medical office, providing key support to both patients and medical staff. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around receptionist duties and co-insurance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients, making them feel welcomed and comfortable

• Handle all incoming calls and inquiries, providing necessary information and assistance

• Schedule patient appointments and manage appointment scheduling system

• Maintain patient records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate

• Process patient co-insurance, verifying details and resolving any discrepancies

• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth office operations

• Handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and discretion

• Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient needs and concerns promptly

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of reception area

• Assist in other administrative tasks as required Requirements • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

• Proven work experience in a receptionist role, preferably within a medical setting

• Knowledge of Co-Insurance and other relevant medical insurance policies

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency with medical software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Must have a customer service-oriented approach

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary

• Good problem-solving skills and ability to handle stressful situations

• Knowledge of medical terminology is desirable.
