Description

　　As a Medical Laboratory Scientist, you support our life saving mission byproviding skilled technical support in the laboratory as you perform highcomplexity testing of patient and donor biological specimens and reviewingtest results. This position works in a high complexity Blood Bank ReferenceLab. Must have 2 years of relevant high complexity Reference Lab experience.

　　What you can expect: This is a Float Position --with the followingshifts--4/10 hour shifts

　　Days: 9:00am - 7:30pm

　　Evenings - 2:00pm - 12:30am ( 8% shift differential)

　　Nights - 9:00pm - 7:30am (1 3% shift differential)

　　Weekends-monthly (8% shift differential in addition to applicableEve/Night Shift Differential)

　　Requirements

　　Knowledge/EducationBachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, medicaltechnology or clinical laboratory science required .Certification as a Medical Technologist/MLS by a recognized certifyingagency required .

　　Licenses/CertificationsCertification as a Medical Technologist/MLS by a recognized certifyingagency required .State licensure, as required by regulations.

　　ExperienceMinimum of two years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting or BBCertification required .Experience in developing and conducting formal training preferred .Experience with LIS/BECs software programs preferred .
