These positions can befilled with a Medical Assistant or Medical Assistant Senior based oncertificatCurrently, we have openings in the following departments:CCBD/InfusionHP Ado Medicine ClinicMultidisciplinary ClinicNeurologyNorth Hospital Campus (Broomfield)South Campus (Highlands Ranch)OncologyPain ClinicSpeciality Care ClinicUptown ClinicMake an ImpactQualifications:Medical AssistantEDUCATION - High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from anaccredited/certified Medical Assistant program are both required.EXPERIENCE - None (entry level)CERTIFICATION(S) - BLS for Healthcare Providers / CPR required.Medical Assistant Sr.EDUCATION - High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from anaccredited/certified Medical Assistant program are both required to beconsidered for these roles at CHCO.EXPERIENCE - One year in a direct health care role.CERTIFICATION(s): BLS for Healthcare Providers / CPR and certificationas a Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, NationalCertified Medical Assistant, Nationally Registered Certified MedicalAssistant, or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant required for MA Sr. roles.Job Highlights:Medical assistants are essential members of the patient-centered medical teamand directly support patient care by assisting health care providers,collaborating with patients and families in implementing plan of care asdirected by the Care Team, and promoting patient safety and well-being.Medical assistants are cross trained to perform administrative and clinicalduties.Clinical duties can include explaining treatment procedures to patients,instructing patients about medication and special diets, preparing andadministering medications, and performing basic lab tests.Administrative duties may consist of updating and filing patient medicalrecords, coding and filling out insurance forms and scheduling appointments.
