Founded in 1951 Mark Twain Medical Center is a 25-bed critical access hospital providing inpatient acute care outpatient services and emergency services including Speciality Care Centers and four community Medical Centers. Responsibilities

Our Medical Assistant under the direction of Physician prepares patients for examination and assists with examinations and minor office surgeries.

Qualifications

Minimum:

High School diploma or GED

Certification of a Medical Assistant program

Current American Heart Association BLS

Demonstrates skills in taking vital signs and height and weight measurements

Knowledge of sterile technique and handling of infectious waste Ability to work as a team and communicate well and interact appropriately with others

Able to work in spite of frequent interruptions

High level of concentration and attention to detail

Preferred:

Additional EMT or equivalent experiencePay Range

$23.11 - $25.88 /hour
