How you’ll spend your day
Become Medical affairs expert on assigned products/therapy areas (TA) – pain, skin care (Sudocrem), vitamins & minerals, cough & cold
Prepare and deliver product/TA medical educational slides/training for other employees/company departments
Prepare medical assessments/ scientific evaluation of different products and potential candidates (medical feasibility)
Provide medical substantiation/support for product claims development
Provide medical input/consultation during external communication content development for company web page and social media; review and approve in Veeva Vault Promomats
Support development of promotional material (by participating in concept generation and providing medical guidance); review and approve in Veeva Vault Promomats
Participate in cross functional TA teams; contribute to functional strategic plan in support of TA
Represent medical function in cross-disciplinary teams
Partner with key business units within the company
Work in close collaboration with medical colleagues supporting OTC in countries, and with Global OTC Marketing, Portfolio and Pipeline colleagues
Your experience and qualifications
Qualifications:
Medical Doctor, Pharmacist, or PhD with relevant medical experienceExperience:
5 years (or more) relevant work experience in pharmaceutical industry, including working with OTC productsSkills:
Proficient in business English (written and speaking)
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of the team
Comfortable working in cross-functional teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) and Outlook/O365
Well organised and self-disciplined with good planning skills
Ability to independently interpret and present scientific and medical information
Ability to write clear and well-argued assessments
Good sense of prioritization and understanding the key points
