As a result, we have a full-time position available for a mechanical/utilities engineer. Responsibilities include conducting job-site surveys of food and beverage plants and utility systems; developing project documentation including drawings, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID s), equipment schedules, details, specifications, scope of work, etc.; selecting and applying system equipment to new and existing systems; and coordinating technical specifications, delivery requirements, and quotation parameters with outside equipment suppliers, subcontractors, and clients. Frequent (30-40%) travel will be required.
