　　We are looking for a talented MECHANICAL TESTING LABORATORY SUPERVISOR to join our team specializing in PRODUCT ENGINEERING for our MERITOR MANUFACTURING DE MEXICO in ESCOBEDO, NUEVO LEON, MÉXIC.

　　In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Responsible for the operation of the testing laboratory (mechanical tests with servo-hydraulic equipment for structural components of trucks) for project approvals: new products, process changes, material changes, cost savings. Responsible for coordinating mechanical laboratory technicians. Responsible for the development of mechanical tests. In charge of the maintenance and calibration of the laboratory: budget, purchases, maintenance tracking. Support Engineering for warranty investigations (cause of failure) and new product development. KPIs: Delivery of Test Reports (delivery times and correct report preparation), laboratory metrics: number of tests, number of test hours, number of test requests, time distribution. Qualifications

　　To be successful in this role you will need the following: Experience as a Mechanical Testing Engineer or Product Engineer University degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related field with knowledge in Mechanical Design. Intermediate to Advanced English required; Advanced English would be a great plus. Experience in CAD Design. Knowledge of hydraulic systems (equipment operation). Knowledge in Budget Management and Project Management. Solid experience in automotive mechanical testing. Experience in personnel management Knowledge of ISO 17025 Standards (Testing Laboratories), desirable courses or certification Desirable to have a valid passport and U.S. visa. Job ENGINEERING
