　　Exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join a great client on a 6-month contract. This role involves serving as the engineering representative and contributing as a team member in an Integrated Project Team. Responsibilities include handling engineering details for new customer introductions, new product development, and addressing issues related to field data, manufacturing pickups, and engineering errors. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to explore design solutions and must have relevant experience in 3D solid modeling and drafting, with a preference for expertise in NX.

　　responsibilities:

　　Creation of installation drawings in NX (Sidewalls/Dado Panels, Ceilings, Floor Panels, Monuments (Lavatories, Galley's, Closets, Partitions, secondary structures, Seats, Stowbins, ect)-Sustain activities that include installations and top level assembly creation in NX, supporting workflows in Teamcenter, publishing parts lists, ensure new designs meet cost and performance targets

　　Creation of top level assembly models in NX

　　Creation of new detailed components and subassemblies

　　Supporting internal design reviews

　　Publish parts lists

　　Creating design solutions to support change requests

　　Understanding new customer requirements and how they can be met

　　Work with other disciplines within the engineering team include electrical engineers, stress engineers, flammability engineering, purchasing, operations and program management.

　　As requires the candidate will need to support manufacturing, operations, and testing as needed

　　Minimum Requirements:

　　-Bachelor's degree in engineering from four-year College or university and 0-2 years related experience and/or training in integration/interiors; or equivalent combination of education and experience in product design.

　　Must be able to research and investigate design solutions and work independently.

　　Must have relevant 3D solid modeling and drafting experience. NX is preferred; however Catia, Solidworks or other systems may be considered.

　　Preferred Requirements:

　　-NX (formally Unigraphics)

　　-Siemens Teamcenter

　　-Teamwork

　　Able to create clear and concise presentations

　　strong mechanical engineering skills including mechanisms, kinematics, kinetics, free body diagrams, and how stresses flow through a particular design.
