Job Responsibilities & Essential Functionsof the Job: Reads and follows entry-level blueprints, shop orders,specifications, and other instructions in order to build and assembleparts and equipment in an accurate and timely fashion. Measures partsaccurately using scales, micrometers, and calipers. Utilize overheadcrane and rigging procedures. Operate material handling equipment.Maintains a clean work area. Occasional Job Responsibilities: Preparesparts for painting. Department clean up and improvement projects JobRequirements: Requires education generally equivalent to a High Schooldiploma. Requires mathematical skills that require the ability to add,subtract, multiply, divide, and make metric system conversions. Musthave the ability to read and understand blueprints and othermanufacturing instructions. Must have the knowledge and ability to usehand tools and machine tools such as drill press, band saw, cut-off sawand grinder. Requires good oral and written communication skills inorder to interact with employees. Must be able to work independently andas a team.
