  Title:Meat Prep Operator, 1st ShiftReq ID: 4205 City, State:Wells, MN, Minnesota (US-MN) Reports to:Production Supervisor Department:1st Shift Production Wells Classification:Nonexempt Title: Machine Operator/Meat Prep Operator,1st Shift City, State: Wells, MN Reports to: Supervisor or Lead Person Department: 1st Shift Line 11 Production Wells Classification: Full-Time, Hourly, Nonexempt Physical Classification: 1-11 (see Back & Task Chart) Hours:4:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. (Hours May Vary) Wage:$22.55 JOB SUMMARY:Blend or mix raw materials and ingredients to designated specifications to ensure that final mixed product meets designated specifications. JOB DUTIES: Set up, operate and disassemble equipment as required. Includes mixers, grinders and other machines in department. Record all raw material usage on the computer. Perform all necessary record keeping for QA and inventory records. Measure and/or weigh all specified ingredients according to specifications and batch sheets. Mix ingredients and chill, if necessary, at a proper temperature. Maintain clean work area. Must be able to read and understand specifications and batch sheets. Frequent twisting, bending and lifting up to 100#. Perform other duties as assigned. Work with Xray equipment WORKING CONDITIONS: High noise, varied temperatures (warm to cold), slippery floors, moving equipment and dust may be present. Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required. QUALIFICATIONS: Display positive attitude and teamwork skills. Must be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day. Ability to frequently bend, lift and twist. Must pass the company physical classification test for essential functions of the position.
