The Scheduling Coordinator is an integral part of the Dispatch &Customer Service team and operates as the primary contact forcoordinating the delivery of raw materials to ready mix productionfacilities. This position is responsible for maximizing efficiencies andensuring internal demand is met related to raw material orders througheffective communication with vendors and internalpartners.The role isbased in Phoenix, AZ and reports to theDirector of Operations.
Requirements
Communicates effectively with internal customers and vendorsTroubleshoots scheduling conflicts related to raw materials or otherissuesResponds to callsfrom internal customers in a timely fashionEnsures adequate supply of raw materials to all ready mix plantswhile maximizing efficienciesConfirms details of scheduled orders prior to shippingAnswers questions regarding schedule from Operations and Sales staffOther duties asassignedMinimum Education and Experience
High School or GED equivalent required. B.A./B.S. degree in relatedfield preferredProfessional Ready Mix or Cement experience may be considered inlieu of adegree3 years of related experience{=html}<>- Strong computer, analytical, and decision-making skills

Physical requirements include lifting/carrying up to 5 pounds fromground to waist, visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eyecoordination and manual dexterity, repetitive motion, standing, sitting(must be able to sit for up to 4 hours at a time), walking, climbingstairs, and driving capabilities.
Working Conditions
Environment varies betweenair-conditionedoffice environments andoccasional outside assignments that may include all weather conditionssuch as heat or cold, wet or dry. Incumbent may be exposed to plantdust, sand, gravel, and diesel exhaust on a limited basis.Incumbentmayoccasionally have to work outside of normal business hoursvia laptop and mobile phone.
