Maintains accurate records associated withthe ordering, receiving and processing for payment all requisitions andpurchase orders. Manages the automated systems to support the materialsmanagement functions. Executes the duties need to assure plant safetyand compliance with Joint Commission, State and Federal requirements forplant safety, life safety, and other building systems and maintenance toassure a safe environment for patients, staff and visitor. Serves asSafety Officer, Radiation Safety Officer, Fire Coordinator and otherroles as appropriate to comply or as required for Plant Management andSafety position. Is responsible for the implementation of and compliancewith all drills, plant safety and emergency preparedness programs. Makessure that all building systems are functional, operating in a safemanner and are maintained according to an established schedule. Able towork under pressure and in situations that demand patience, tact,stamina and endurance.

　　Physical Requirements:

　　May be expected to lift up to 50 pounds or up to 150 pounds withassistance. May be expected to push or pull 150-300 pounds withassistance. Work is of medium demand; walking or standing most of thetime while on duty. Visual and auditory acuity and manual dexterityessential to performing designated duties required. Optimal auditoryacuity required. Manual dexterity involving the handling of equipmentand computers is essential to performing assigned duties. Physicalconditions are clean, neat and well-lit. May be subjected to unpleasantsights and odors, stressful situations and hazardous or infectiousagents where judgement as to precautions needed to be taken isessential. Climate control and ambient temperature variances may beexperienced and required by patient care and needs of the surgical team.Exposure to limited amounts of radiation, hazardous chemicals orsubstances and infectious disease processes are a possibility. Hours ofduty may be irregular or unexpectedly extended due to the requirementsof the plant operations.
