For more information, please visit www.verathon.com.OverviewVerathon is looking for a Material Handler III to become the newest member of our Operations located in Bothell, WA.The Material Handler III is responsible for creating plans and executing work to accomplish both team and personal goals. A degree of creativity and latitude and driving continuous improvement is expected, while strictly adhering to quality and regulatory compliance.Responsibilities* Responsible for packaging of both raw and sub-assembly products into system level shippable finished goods* Evaluate backlog of orders to properly plan assembly or kitting to meet on time needs* Compile orders for Verathon subsidiary sites worldwide* Utilize hand trucks, forklifts, or other equipment to move material to and from receiving to the warehouse, warehouse to the production floor as well as the production floor to the distribution center* Ship finished goods to customer orders including internal customers* Train new employees on processes and procedures in Materials Department* Sustain activities for Materials team processes including Plan for Every Part, and Materials 5S* Run reports and interpret data to make recommendations* Expected to generate continuous improvement ideas materials and distribution center groups* Be actively involved in the Kaizen process* Cycle-counting of raw inventory, sub-assemblies, and finished goods in all inventory locations* Capable of administrating cycle count program - organizing and logging team counts* Performs required transactions, understanding the ramifications within the ERP system* Work with cross-functional departments including Customer Care and Accounting teams to properly process customer orders and returns* Manage physical inventory and space for products that reside in a separate ERP inventory location* Proficient in shipping one-off requests from other departments* Responsible for international shipping including proper documentation for shipments, and coordination with third party freight forwarders* Proficient in Receiving PO's and goods delivered to VerathonQualifications* 2+ years relevant experience required* Associate degree or equivalent preferred* Demonstrated proficiency with several materials processes like receiving, inventory control, shipping, and transactions* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Ability to read and follow procedures* Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines* Ability to lift 50 lbs.* Familiarity with MS Office Suite especially Word, Outlook, and Excel* Ability to work in a team environment* Punctuality and a professional, can-do attitude are a must* Working knowledge of an ERP system* Basic knowledge of BOM setup str
