Working for our team, you can truly make a difference.TheMaterial Handler is responsible for maintaining production and distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies, and staging finished product. They are also responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments and all the necessary documentation. A person in this role with exceptional performance will have the opportunity over time to learn new duties and gain different responsibilities. An ideal candidate is someone with a solid work ethic, good attendance, ability to self-motivate, and a desire to grow their career with us!Why work at MCC:Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 hourly + shift premiumGenerous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance and 401(k)Paid Holidays: New Years, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, plus two floating HolidaysResponsibilities:Prepare jobs for shipments, perform all duties associated with the proper preparation of documents.Remove bails from bailer, stage bails for recycling, clean bailer room.Remove WIP and excess material from production floor and return it to proper warehouse floor location.Stock material for the press and finishing departments as needed per production schedule.Receive and unload packages, raw material, stock items, non-stock items, etc.Operate a forklift, transport and store all received shipments in the correct place.Ensure all incoming deliveries and outgoing shipments match the company order and specifications.Responsible for housekeeping and cleanliness of work area/production zone.Related duties as assigned.Qualifications:High school education or equivalent.Exhibits a safety-first attitude in all that is done, from proper personal protection equipment compliance to keeping the work environment safe and hazard-free.
