　　PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTION

　　Responsible for moving, sorting, and staging steel parts to and from machines and welders.

　　ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

　　Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently in a production environment including:Handle a large variety of material lengths, shapes and sizes both before and after welding.Operate a forklift in close proximity with other forklifts and pedestrians.Stack materials in a stable, safe, and efficient way.Coordinate with Production Management on material priorities and organization.Communicate with welders and machine operators on material needs.Attention to detail to ensure parts are organized and staged as needed.Ability to occasionally lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES

　　Education: High School Diploma or GED

　　Experience:

　　The ability to accurately check one's work for quality assurance.Ability to operate forklifts and become forklift certified.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
