  PDS Tech Commercial Inc., is seeking candidates for a Supervisor of Material Execution Supervisor (Transportation and Material Moving Workers) position in Charlotte, NC.

  Job Title: Material Execution Supervisor (Transportation and Material Moving Workers)

  Job Type: Full time; Contract (12 months)

  Location: Charlotte, NC 28269

  Schedule: 2nd shift, 4:30pm to 3am with some weekends and OT

  Payrate: $20.00 - $28.00 (depending on experience)

  The Material Execution Supervisor is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations related to the handling, storage, and movement of materials within the company's facilities. This includes coordinating with various teams, such as production, warehouse, and transportation, to ensure smooth and efficient material flow. The supervisor will also monitor and enforce safety protocols, maintain accurate records, and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

  Job Description:

  Manages element of warehouse operations and performance of all tasks involved in the shipment, requisition, and storage of materials, supplies, and equipment into and from warehouse. May include the coordination of material flow within a manufacturing organization and shipping and receiving.

  Key Responsibilities:

  Supervision and Coordination:Oversee the activities of material handlers, forklift operators, DACs (deliver assurance coordinators) and other relevant personnel.

  Coordinate with production, warehouse, and transportation teams to ensure seamless material flow.

  Safety and Compliance:Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

  Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies related to material handling.

  Process Improvement:Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance operational efficiency.

  Work with cross-functional teams to streamline material handling processes.

  Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of material movements, including receipts, shipments, and transfers.

  Generate reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights for decision-making.

  Equipment and Facilities Management:Ensure that material handling equipment is properly maintained and serviced.

  Coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs and replacements as needed.

  Training and Development:Provide training and guidance to material handling personnel to ensure compliance with best practices and safety procedures.

  Support the onboarding of new team members.

  Qualifications:

  Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  Proven experience in material handling, logistics, or a related field.

  Strong knowledge of material handling equipment and techniques.

  Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.

  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

  Leadership and team management skills.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Certification in Supply Chain Management or related field.

  Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.

  Working Conditions:

  This role is in a manufacturing environment.

  May require occasional work in different shifts, weekends, or holidays.

  Physical requirements may include lifting and moving heavy objects.

  Pay Details: $20.00 to $28.00 per hour
