  About Our Internship   

   

  Our Marketing and Corporate Social Responsibility division has an opportunity for a Communications Intern to join the Division Operations team from May 20 – July 26, 2024.  

  The Division Operations team supports the entire Marketing and Corporate Social Responsibility division. We run ahead and alongside the rest of the division to ensure they have the tools and resources available to them that enables them to focus on their area of expertise. Our responsibilities include managing the division budget, contracts and vendors, ensuring the teams have the regulatory information they need to operate while minimizing risk and also for our division communications and engagement.

  As an intern on this team, you will support the planning and execution of Division Communications for the Marketing and Corporate Social Responsibility division. Projects will include managing a communications calendar, drafting communications, planning for division Lunch and Learn sessions, organizing electronic files and providing support to the Director. 

  Desired Skills  

  Marketing and/or communication coursework or experience 

  Familiarity of or experience working with Teams and SharePoint

  Strong interpersonal skills – able to engage with and collaborate with others through effective communication, organization and prioritization 

  Comfortable interacting with all levels within the organization, including Senior Leadership

   

  The Must-Haves   

  You have a passion for people, communications, marketing and community engagement. 

  Demonstrated experience communicatingthrough a variety of methods to diverse audiences

  You will be a rising Senior at an accredited university or college in May 2024. 

  You’re available to work 40 hours per week for 10 weeks from May 20 – July 26, 2024. 

  You will be located in North Carolina during the internship program. 

  You’re legally authorized to work in the United States and should not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future.

  Compensation  

  Rising Senior: $21/hr.
