Position Summary
This position is for a summer intern to support the company\'s Strategyand Market Development group and will be responsible for coordinatingresearch involving policy, regulatory and market trends and analyzingtheir impact on Franklin Energy\'s business. This individual will alsobe responsible for validating their work with subject matter experts andleaders and integrating feedback received into final products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform federal and state policy and regulatory research in theareas of energy efficiency (EE), energy demand response (DR), andtransportation electrification (TE)Review utility regulatory filings proposing EE/DR/TE programs andsummarize for internal audiencesCoordinate research projects that examine energy industry trends andmarket intelligence aimed at better understanding existing andpotential clients, acquisition targets, competitors, and policy andregulatory driversCollaborate closely with subject matter experts and otherstakeholders across the companySupport the development of market-facing thought leadership contentworking closely with technical experts and marketing professionals.Lead and support the production of memoranda, slide presentations,and spreadsheets to document research findings and synthesizestrategy insights and recommendations suitable for a seniorleadership audience.Organize document libraries for searchability.Work on other tasks and opportunities as identifiedPosition Requirements
Education and Experience
Enrolled in a full-time associate or bachelor\'s degree program atan accredited college or university, preferably in applicable areaof focus (environmental management, engineering, architecture,business administration, or sustainability).
