SUMMARY
Fulfills customer requirements for Assembly, Test, Inspection and Packout
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assembles product per customer specifications
Reviews and verifies all required documentation related to the product being built
Uses hand tools e.g., scanners, gauges, dispensing machines, inspection camera systems, soldering equipment, scopes, magnification lenses, UV inspection lights, box cutters, etc.
Uses chemicals required by customer specifications to build the product; follows all documentation concerning use and wears required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Completes packout operations for finished product
Coordinates with teammates, manufacturing leadership and support groups to identify tasks
Evaluates inventory levels throughout the shift and orders parts as needed; escalates all part shortages per the escalation process
Completes MRB processes expeditiously
Escalates all downtime issues per the escalation process; records downtime data as applicable for the station or area
Actively participates in team activities and projects, communicates effectively to the team and attends all required team meetings
Maintains a clean and organized work area per our 6S requirements
Works safely at all times and complies with Environmental Health and Safety Standards
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic reading, writing and math skills required (i.e., 8th grade level)
Basic PC skills required (i.e., keyboarding, mouse usage, opening and closing programs and files using MS Windows)
Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail for extended periods
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Extended periods of standing required
Repeated bending, twisting, grasping, reaching and fine hand motor movement throughout shift
Frequently required to walk, bend, lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
Close vision for inspection of finished product, viewing drawings, prints, visual aids etc.
Extended use of a computer monitor screen
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work area is on the Manufacturing floor
Noise level is normally moderate
Exposure to machinery with moving parts and hot surfaces
Occasional exposure to low dust/dirt and chemical fumes
