　　JOB  SUMMARY

　　We are seeking 2 team-oriented Manufacturing Team Leads for our bar fabrication and crating/assembly teams. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating daily production activities to maximize productivity and minimize costs while maintaining safety and quality.

　　ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND  RESPONSIBILITIES

　　Coordinate daily production activities to maximize productivity and minimize costs while ensuring employee safety and product quality.

　　Provide training and direction to team members and ensure compliance with company policies and expectations.

　　Participate in completion and presentation of employee commendations, performance appraisals, and disciplinary actions.

　　Collaborate with management and other departments on production goals, schedules, resolution of issues, and updates.

　　Assist team members by performing hands-on production work in assigned area.

　　Attend meetings, generate reports, and maintain records as needed.

　　EDUCATION and  EXPERIENCE

　　Experience:  Prior supervisory experience and at least 3 years of skilled manufacturing, metal fabrication, and/or construction experience strongly preferred.

　　Education: High school diploma or GED required.

　　COMPETENCY SUMMARY

　　Strong leadership, communication, and diplomacy skills.

　　Strong planning, organization, and multi-tasking skills.

　　Proficient in reading tape measurements and blueprints, and able to teach the same.

　　Skilled with any one of the following: CNC metal fabrication equipment, custom carpentry, and/or custom fabrication/assembly.

　　Basic computer skills (able to use MS Outlook, Excel, etc.) and good reading & writing skills.

　　WORK SCHEDULE

　　The current work schedule is 5:30 am - 4:00 pm Monday -Thursday, and 5:30 am - 3:30 pm on Friday. Some Saturday mornings will also be required. Hours above 40 per week are paid at the overtime rate.

　　PHYSICAL DEMANDS

　　Spends over 2/3 of time standing, walking, and using hands. Lifts/positions items weighing up to 40 lbs. up to 1/3 of time and spends up to 2/3 of time talking/hearing. Generally requires clear vision at close distances for reading prints and tape measurements, inspecting product, etc.*

　　WORK ENVIRONMENT 

　　More than 2/3 of time is spent in an industrial manufacturing area that is ventilated and heated but is not air-conditioned. Less than 1/3 of time may be spent outdoors, in prevailing weather conditions.

　　Skill tests will be administered. This is a full-time position at our manufacturing plant located in Richland, Mississippi. Local candidates only, please.
