This Manufacturing Engineering Internship opportunity includes: - Gain experience in a Manufacturing Engineering support role within a dynamic production environment, working on several manufacturing initiatives including new business process estimating, configuration management process standards, and new product launch management. - Develop Engineering Management skills by assisting Manufacturing Engineering Management staff with execution of Manufacturing Engineering equipment projects and shop floor support.Position Requirements:Must be at least 18 years old.Must be U.S. Person as defined by ITARMust be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred or pursuing a Bachelor's degree in another engineering discipline and have completed at least one year of that curriculum.Must obtain unescorted facility access through Department of Army Police vetting process.Must successfully complete pre-employment process including medical exam, drug screen, and background check.Must be able to work in both shop and office environments.Must have good written & oral communication skills.Ability to function in a team-based environment.Overall GPA of 3.0 preferred.Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, etc.Must be able to complete a minimum of a three-month assignment and work full time for the duration.General Dynamics Land Systems is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
