ResponsibilitiesSUMMARY:
The Manufacturing Engineer Manager oversees daily production and is expected to lead with an innovative direction of Manufacturing Technicians and Engineers. Responsible for these team members and implementation of capital projects to aid in the manufacturing process. Reviews, evaluates, and implements engineering changes and specification requirements to the production department for the maintenance of tooling and fixtures. (i.e. - core boxes, patterns, CNC fixtures, etc.).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Thorough understanding of plant engineering, industrial engineering, and tooling
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Supervise machinist work to complete production and repair of production tools and fixtures.Provide technical insight for the development of Manufacturing Engineering Department personnel.Provide prototype assistance and solving, lead all aspects of design tooling, and installation/modification of prototype tooling.Responsible for priority setting and workload scheduling for the personnel and machines within the Manufacturing Engineering Department.Comprehensive project management Reduce unnecessary production interruptions and continually improve the performance of personnel, machinery, and tooling.
QualificationsREQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors or master's degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology or in a related field required.Minimum of 7 years of supervisory experience.Applicable Engineering Software (i.e., SolidWorks and/or other CAD Software)Experience in Robotic Projects and language.Ability to create, read, analyze, and interpret drawings. Experience with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing Principles and Project Management.Demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills.Proven results to develop a team and working cohesively within a team.Attention to detail through ambitious goal setting and productive project management.
