JOB REQUIREMENTS: About the Role: Develop and implement manufacturingbusiness improvement projects and processes for trailer manufacturing.Support teams to make improvements to existing devices and manufacturingprocesses. Lead complex projects independently with minimal supervision.Your Responsibilities: Assesses process capabilities, prioritizesprocess improvement opportunities, and innovates and implements processimprovements on commercial products. Applies technical knowledge toinnovate, design, and develop processes, procedures, tooling and/orautomation. Plans, organizes, and conducts all aspects of technicalreviews. Ensures proper documentation is completed to meet qualitysystems requirements. Writes and reviews validation protocols andreports applications to new processes. Oversees development buildsassociated with the project using special work requests. Develops andmaintains qualified production lines. Provides Design forManufacturability (DFM) input to the engineering print package.Contributes or generates ideas. Trains and/or provides work direction totechnicians and engineers and may train manufacturing personnel whenrequired as part of a validation. May serve as a core team member orextended team member on new product projects. Participate in leanreviews and line side meetings. Must comply with requirements ofEnvironmental, Health and Safety standards and follow procedures andinstructions related to these standards. Establish and support a workenvironment of continuous improvement that supports Quality Policy,Quality System, and the appropriate regulations for the area theysupport.
