Description:

　　The Manufacturing Engineering is responsible for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of production related support tooling and processes required to manufacture high quality complex sheet metal formed aircraft components in a repeatable and cost effective manner. The Manufacturing Engineering will drive improvements in all related manufacturing processes, including those related to products, equipment, and product quality. The Manufacturing Engineering position requires involvement with the manufacturing, materials, customer service, quality, as well as support functions. Through partnerships the Manufacturing Engineering will ensure the required technical support for critical processes and product issue resolution. The Manufacturing Engineering, strategic thinker and problem solver. He/she must be well organized, disciplined and self-motivated, with the capability to balance multiple priorities related to operations. He/she must be able to communicate with internal company personnel, as well as customers and suppliers, with equal effectiveness and professionalism. From the manager: Actalent is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to support an aerospace supplier in the St. Louis area. This engineer will be responsible for creating manufacturing processes to fulfill aerospace customer requirements and orders. Once finished with training, this person will be setting up their hot brake process.

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　Bachelors degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering is highly preferred. Experience could outweigh degree. At least 3 years of experience in an aerospace sheet metal forming type of environment. Familiarity working within ERP systems (Job Boss, E2, IFS would be a plus, but are open to people who have experience in any ERP system.) Demonstrates proficiency and comprehends OEM specifications Ability to manage multiple projects at once
