Description: 

　　We are looking for a qualified Manufacturing and Assembly Assistant to assist in our warehouse.  We are looking for someone that takes pride in their work to assemble our product!  Must be loyal and thrive within a fast-paced environment.  This role requires quick adaptation to change and the ability to keep the success and forward movement of the business as the ultimate top priority.

　　Specific Responsibilities:

　　Build and assemble product, while making sure all production tasks are performed according to standard operating procedures and manufacturing guidelines with consistent speed and accuracy

　　Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality

　　Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified

　　Rework and/ or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes

　　Complete packaging tasks such as box assembly, packing and taping

　　Complete quality records for manufactured products

　　Complete daily assigned tasks to meet production volume and schedule

　　Ensure that the manufactured product meets customer specifications

　　Maintain documentations for production related activities for reference purposes

　　High attention to detail

　　Assist with shipping customer orders

　　Assist with receiving inventory

　　Assist with monthly inventory

　　Ensure that work environment is maintained clean, safe and organized

　　Follow proper safety procedures and report any safety concerns to management

　　Maintain a clean and safe work area

　　Attend all safety and production training

　　Required Skills:

　　High attention to detail

　　2+ years of experience working in an industrial and production setting

　　Ability to follow all written and verbal instructions

　　Knowledge of basic tool usage

　　Ability to consistently meet deadlines

　　Basic math skills

　　Basic computer skills

　　Manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately

　　Must be able to read, write and speak English

　　Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude

　　Ability to work courteously and cooperatively with staff

　　High school diploma or equivalent

　　Preferred Skills:

　　Knowledge and ability to use UPS, FedEx and SpeeDee Shipping software

　　MS Office

　　Fishbowl (Inventory software) 

　　Physical Requirements:

　　Must be able to lift 50 to 75 at a time, repeatedly throughout the day

　　Must be able to stand for 2 – 3 hours at a time during an 8 to 10-hour shift

　　Work overtime as needed
