  The Transfer Pricing Manager will have a meaningful opportunity to impact the company’s bottom line. The Manager will report to the Senior Manager, Transfer Pricing and Supply Chain with a close working connection with the Senior Director, APAC Tax and Senior Manager, APAC Tax. The position will be based in Greensboro and some business travel should be expected (domestic and international).

  The primary responsibilities of the Transfer Pricing Manager include:

  Assist in developing and implementing strategic, value driving transfer pricing planning opportunities for the Company

  Manage the preparation of global transfer pricing documentation for the Company with special focus on the APAC region

  Monitor and adjust intercompany transactions to ensure consistency with VF’s transfer pricing policies and in compliance with prevailing local regulations

  Assist with global transfer pricing and tax controversy matters including, but not limited to, transfer pricing audits

  Manage transfer pricing components of the tax provision to ensure company operations are in line with transfer pricing policies

  Manage and perform technical analysis associated with international acquisitions, divestitures and integrations

  Conduct functional interviews with business leaders to proactively manage VF’s transfer pricing policies

  Effectively build and manage relationships with Accounting, Legal, Treasury, Supply Chain, and other functional groups within the Company

  The ideal candidate will have the following education and experience:

  A bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or related field; Graduate degree and professional certifications preferred (e.g., MBA, MST, CPA)

  5+ years of transfer pricing or related experience with Big Four or comparable in-house role of a multinational organization

  Strong knowledge of OECD Guidelines, US and APAC transfer pricing statutes, regulations and case law

  Demonstrated working knowledge of global transfer pricing, including practical operational transfer pricing, key risks and documentation expectations for various APAC jurisdictions

  Foreign subsidiary local country audit experience;

  IP planning, cost sharing, supply chain and general modeling experience

  Experience independently managing various projects and teams

  Strong MS Office skills required

  Strong verbal and written communication skills required

  Ability to work in a team environment required

  Hiring Range :

  $95,904.00 USD - $119,880.00 USD annually

  Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
