Northrop Grumman Defense Systems has an opening for a Supply Chain Programs Manager 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Lake Charles, LA.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Establish Material Operations and Procurement Strategies to be implemented by the OU Global Supply Chain TeamIdentify strategic procurement strategies with subcontractors to include long term pricing agreements, favorable contract negotiations, capacity evaluations, etc.Drive overall material health, material schedule, and accurately forecast costs by using statistical planning models to forecast the material demand for the OU.Work collaboratively with other functional areas to meet OU commitments.Drive continuous improvement, and affordability initiatives within the OU.Identify critical material shortages and resolve material related issues due to supply-based problems, inventory errors, or demand changes.Manage and communicate material risks and opportunities.Ultimately responsible for inventory control and ensuring stock levels are maintained at an appropriate level by coordinating the efficient movement of materials.Engage in the generation of proposals including identify material requirements, drafting supplier statements of work, pricing quotes, and estimate rational.
