What you'll do...
Join the U.S. Import Trade Compliance organization to support the compliance - audit & regulatory area for the world's largest retailer based out of the Walmart Headquarters in Bentonville, AR. The Manager, U.S. Import Trade Compliance - Audit & Regulatory team is critical to the U.S. Import Trade Compliance Program. The Manager, U.S. Import Trade Compliance - Audit & Regulatory will be responsible for conducting the antidumping and countervailing duty audit, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for the first sale, free trade/special trade program, as well as responsible for working to submit any post summary correction to U.S. Customs.
The Manager, U.S. Import Trade Compliance - Audit & Regulatory will communicate with key government agencies primarily US Customs, regulatory review and advise business stakeholders, management of post summary/protest submissions to US Customs and work closely with third party consultants supporting the compliance with these programs. The Manager, U.S. Import Trade Compliance - Audit & Regulatory will report to the Director, Specialty Compliance and Ethics - Trade Compliance Audit & Regulatory.
What you'll do...
• Enhance program effectiveness and efficiencies: Develop and implement changes to program requirements, systems, and processes to be more efficient and effective; identify program gaps and solutions
• Identify and mitigate risk: Establish metrics and processes for risk identification/monitoring associated with fines and penalties, and work with various stakeholders to mitigate risks as appropriate
• Collaborate and communicate: Demonstrate effective communication at varying levels of the Import Trade Compliance team members including Senior Manager, Senior Director of Imports, Director of Classification, Director of Customs Operations, and as well as other key business stakeholders
What you'll bring...
• Keen awareness of compliance and ethics concerns by monitoring trends in laws and regulations for imports into the United States
• Experience in import compliance
• Classification and admissibility experience
• Data experience to understand problems and understand impact/risk
• Self-starter that can operate in a complex collaborative corporate structure with multiple stakeholders
• Organized, disciplined, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 2 years' experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 4 years' experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area.
2 years' experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
