As a Security Engineering Manager you will be working on solving security problems at a massive scale, participating in AHS security strategy, road-map planning and hiring/building a team of security engineers who are customer obsessed.As a Security Engineering Manager at AHS, you will help establish technical standards and drive AHS's technical architecture and engineering practices through paved frameworks, Security architectures, and security standards. You'll work on AHS's hardest problems, building high quality, architecturally sound secure systems that are aligned with our business needs. You'll think globally when building systems, ensuring AHS builds high performing, scalable, and secure systems that fit well together no matter the compliance regime that is applied. You should possess expertise that is deep and broad; you are hands on, producing both detailed technical work and high-level architectural designs.This role will be a direct report to the HealthSec Sr Manager for Engineering Services and will participate in new key forward looking strategic initiatives. Your position will provide opportunities to think big, be customer obsessed, and to partner with business teams across Amazon. We dive deep into security technologies such as new identity and authentication systems, hardware security components, cryptography, system hardening, machine learning and artificial intelligence (ML/AI), and massive-scale audit and log analysis. The objective of the AHS information security program is to define the innovative preventative, detective, and monitoring mechanisms to enable security individually and at scale.
