  Job Description:

  Job Summary:

  Responsible for overseeing and directing Major Medical (MM) collections, customer service, & PBM collections resolution functionalities. Responsible for developing policies, procedures, and controls along with implementing systems specific to business unit(s) and/or the organization. Ensuring that reporting and all other activities adhere to company policies.

  Job Responsibilities:

  Directs and controls team activities in accordance to company policy. Implements new policies and processes and ensures those policies and processes are communicated to team and the organization as applicable.

  Manages escalated issues, communicating with patients, carriers, coworkers and attorneys in a timely, effective manner to expedite the billing and collection of accounts receivable.

  Monitors reports, workloads, and queues, ensuring that all are handled in an accurate and timely fashion.

  Reviews recommendations for staffing, hiring, and shifting of business resources as delinquency needs indicates.

  Reviews calls for metric and calibration for staff development and target goals.

  Functions as a subject matter expert (SME) in training documents, standard operating procedures (SOPs) as they related to operations.

  Analyzes work-related problems and identifying sustainable solutions; responsible for handling human resources issues and resolves complaints within established guidelines.

  Develops standards of work performance, orientation and training programs and facilitate continuous improvement to reach team goals; recognizes development needs and capability gaps and arranges specific projects/assignments to address needs.

  Other responsibilities as judgement or necessity dictates.

  External Basic Qualifications:

  Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in customer services and collections resolutions or High school/GED at least for 5 years of experience in customer services and collections resolutions.

  1 year of leadership/people management experience

  Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  Experience with analyzing and reporting data to identifying issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.

  At least 1 year of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross functional team leadership.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Master’s degree in accounting, Business, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience.Shift:
