MANAGER REGIONAL SEPCIALTY WEALTH

　　WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

　　This position is responsible for managing and directing real estate activities in fiduciary accounts within an assigned region and the implementation of trust policies to promote the growth and profitability consistent with the division's objectives. Handles accounts of special significance, especially those of a more delicate or complex nature. Ensures that the administration of real property is in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and the stipulations of the Trust Document or Court Order under which authority is conferred. Interfaces with clients, administrators, co-trustees, beneficiaries, attorneys and others regarding accounts.

　　What you will do

　　Manage Trust Lead, Asset managers and/or administrative staff. Assign responsibilities for the administration of real property accounts and maintain appropriate workloads for asset managers. Conduct performance appraisals, makes hiring and termination decisions, etc.

　　Handle the largest and most complex assets. Confer with clients, administrators, co-trustees, beneficiaries, tenants and attorneys regarding the establishment, administration and operation of real property.

　　Ensure that all tax liabilities and obligations of accounts are met.

　　Analyze trust instruments to determine duties and responsibilities of the company relative to real property

　　Ensure portfolios are managed with appropriate level of risk appetite and risk mitigation

　　Establish, maintain and revise appropriate service delivery for asset management.

　　Direct staff to gather/submit pertinent facts to the Trust Administration Committee / Trust Investment Committee / Trust Real Estate Committee regarding situations requiring the use of fiduciary discretion.

　　Direct and provides guidance to staff on Review proposals for consideration and direction to various committees as part of on-going asset management.

　　Responsible for ensuring asset managers comply with all regulatory and internal requirements associated with portfolio in accordance with policies, procedures, and practices such as annual reviews, inspections, valuations, audit inquires, etc

　　Supervise and monitor environmental issues and ADA compliance issues.

　　Act as business development resource to sales team on sales calls or customer inquiries related to Asset Management and Specialty Wealth Services

　　Stay abreast on new developments pertaining to regulation, market strategies and competitive positioning.

　　Interfaces with Bank colleagues as well as bank relationship managers, team leaders and business development officers on asset management related issues, processes and activities.

　　Responsible and accountable for appropriate quality controls related to the asset management services the bank provides.

　　Monitor performance, assess accomplishments, perform periodic reviews and counseling to direct reports

　　Must-Have*

　　Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

　　10+ years working in financial or legal services organization with direct fiduciary experience

　　10+ years of asset/investment management experience in related industry or asset management

　　5+ years of management experience

　　Skills and Knowledge

　　Must possess comprehensive knowledge of personal trust laws and regulations, state tax laws, income taxation with respect to trust investment management principles.

　　Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).

　　Must possess demonstrated management skills

　　Excellent verbal and written communications skills sufficient to interact with all levels of Bank Personnel and clients.

　　Compensation

　　Starting base salary: $127,626 - $237,014 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
