Manager, Product Manager-AirKey Experiences

This role is for the AirKey team, part of the Emerging Payments AirKey group at Capital One. AirKey is a new method of authentication, effectively turning the payment card into a hardware authenticator, that can help reduce fraud and drive customer engagement for banks and other third parties. The AirKey team is focused on building a new commercial business based on this proprietary technology developed and patented by Capital One. As Manager, Product Manager for AirKey Experiences, you will work closely with a variety of partners across design, business, tech and our external clients to drive the product roadmap for AirKey Experiences. You will have the opportunity to work on both frontend and backend capabilities to deliver incredible end user experiences.

Inspires teams to deeply understand technology opportunities to increase velocity of new features and capabilities

Fosters active partnership with architecture to drive target state; challenges existing principles to drive better macro outcomes

Leads horizontally across the value chain to ensure effective monitoring and controls are in place

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

At least 3 years of product management experience or at least 1 years of experience in agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering

1+ years of experience with Payments Industry (particularly transaction data) ideal

5+ years of experience in Agile product management

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $158,400 - $180,800 for Manager, Product Management

New York, NY: $172,800 - $197,200 for Manager, Product Management

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
