The Role:

Using leveraging your experience in managing warehousing, material planning and shipping, you will have an opportunity to define new ways of working to execute those plans and be responsible for creating a culture of excellence in the materials organization. As the Manager, Material Planning, Warehouse & Logistics, your primary responsibilities will be the planning, storage, and movements of materials and finished goods through the iA® Manufacturing process. You will also be directly responsible for production control activities required to support manufacturing and customer requirements through scheduling manufacturing using the ERP system (MAX). In addition, you will be managing the team who is overseeing incoming materials to warehouse and inventory control and will be responsible for managing the shipment of materials and finished goods.
What you’ll do:
Warehouse
Achieve Inventory turns by implementing sound Inventory control practices
Manage excess and obsolete inventory to company targets
Overall responsibility for material flow to a work center and the outflow of work from work centers
Ensure that due dates are met, orders transacted, shipped, received in a timely manner
Manage the receipt and storage of materials ensuring inventory volume accuracies are maintained
Define and create Inventory control processes as required
Production Control
Manage and direct Production Control team to meet shipping schedule commitments while overseeing the Master Schedule. Create and issue shop orders for production and oversee the execution of engineering changes. Track and control work-in-progress inventory accurately.
Manage Raw Materials and Finished product inventory to meet customer needs and company goals.
Prepare and report end-of-month inventory status. Resolve issues affecting scheduled tasks and create stock plans for Manufacturing and Field Support.
Ensures the accuracy of data entered into the ERP system.
Manage materials in new product development arena.
Logistics
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistic providers, transportation companies and customers to plan, manage and assess logistics operations.
Create a reliable shipping schedule with the Demand Planning team by monitoring quality, quantity, and delivery times.
Manage freight arrangements from iA® to customer sites, material sent back from the sites to iA®, and other miscellaneous shipments.
General
Manage the Demand Planning team through recruitment, training, coaching, and corrective actions.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement for both people and processes.
Ensure adherence to safety policies by completing timely training and regular inspections.
Set and track Key Performance Indicators to motivate the team and report on progress.
Who you are:
5+ years of production planning and warehouse management experience in a manufacturing environment.
3+ years of logistics management experience.
Ability to solicit input and interact with multiple functions to develop an accurate view of anticipated demand
Demonstrated knowledge of material requirements planning process and materials management
Demonstrated knowledge of inventory management, dock-to-stock, stock-to-line, cycle counting, annual physical inventory management
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet established and/or strict deadlines
Ability to maintain and protect confidential information
Ability to work additional hours as needed

The estimated base annual salary range for this position is $70,006.85 to $94,715.15, though a candidate's base annual salary shall be determined on a range of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications and experience. This position may additionally be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
