We are seeking a stellar compliance manager with operational experience in internet service provider (ISP)/telecom obligations to join the ISP Compliance team supporting Amazon's Project Kuiper.Amazon's Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about technology, enjoys being continually challenged, and demonstrates sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.Key job responsibilitiesWorking closely with the business, legal, and other teams, you will develop out-of-this-world strategies for handling compliance obligations in creative, business-centric ways that allow Kuiper to move quickly.You will manage a team of 4 or more compliance specialists working closely with business development, finance, accounting, tax to implement, maintain, and upgrade system functionalities that support operational compliance obligations. You will also be responsible for delivering functionality on time and on budget, and you will keep leadership apprised of the status of key projects and functional deliverables.This position may be based in Redmond, WA, or Arlington, VA. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $198,300/year in our highest geographic market.
