Ethicon is recruiting for a Marketing Manager for Global Strategic Marketing who will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of the Megadyne business within the Ethicon Portfolio.
This individual will develop global strategies to grow the Megadyne business. They will be responsible for portfolio and lifecycle management, new product innovation, and implementing strategies and tactics for the Megadyne brand. This individual will be responsible for exploring new commercial business models and solutions to drive top-line revenue and for managing the health and profitability of the brand.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for end-to-end brand strategy, including platform segmentation, messaging, positioning, pricing strategies, and regional launch execution.
Collaborate with regional partners to create and implement global strategies to drive continued above-market growth in Ethicon’s core energy business.
Responsible for brand management, including portfolio optimization, profitability, and lifecycle management.
Partner with Value Stream, Lifecycle, and Supply Chain teams to initiate cost improvement projects and optimize the supply chain to improve efficiency and overall health of the platform.
Responsible for VOC and insights to inform pipeline strategy, including target product profile, claims, new product development, launch preparation, and execution of launch excellence.
Responsible for Megadyne pipeline development, including external innovation and business development strategies, as required.
Partner with supply chain and demand planning to forecast growth accurately and secure appropriate capital investments to support the growth and long-term health of the brand.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reaching financial targets within specified budgets and timeframes.
Ensure applicable company compliance with all relevant country and regional requirements, company regulations, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
An MBA or equivalent with a strong marketing, strategy, and finance background is preferred.
A minimum of 8 years of progressive business experience is required.
A minimum of 4 years of experience in healthcare marketing, sales, R&D, business development, professional or sales education, or related field is required.
Previous medical device marketing, Global Strategic Marketing, and/or healthcare sales experience is highly preferred.
Experience in brand management and optimizing product profitability is preferred.
Experience in product lifecycle management is preferred.
Experience in product development, including needs assessment, new opportunity assessment, and prior product launch experience, is preferred.
Demonstrated experience developing and using customer insights is preferred.
Excellent cross-functional and management influencing skills are required.
The ability to develop customer relationships is required.
Previous experience with Supply Chain and Demand Planning is preferred.
Demonstrated teamwork and influence management are required.
Knowledge of the customer, their procedures, and energy-bases devices is preferred.
