　　How will you make a difference?

　　The Manager ERP, Stemmann Group is responsible for managing the support of all of Wabtec’s business applications which include ABAS ERP, DMS, Office Applications, e-commerce applications, web applications and portals, and the various custom applications that support manufacturing and local departments in Germany and Poland. This position is also responsible for the overall planning, budgeting, and management of business application projects in the Stemmann Group, a Wabtec company.

　　What do we want to know about you?

　　Basic Qualifications

　　college degree in the field of information technology

　　several years, minimum 5 years, of business analysis experience

　　Thorough knowledge of business processes and computerized business applications, especially ABAS Applications.

　　Ability to analyze business situations and problems.

　　Must have excellent communications and interpersonal skills. Ability to speak both German and English fluently.

　　Experience writing detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.

　　Familiar with relational database concepts, and client-server concepts.

　　A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

　　Knows fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of particular field of specialization.

　　Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures of a particular field of specialization to the completion of difficult assignments. Also possesses knowledge of related fields and areas of operation which affect, or are affected by, own area.

　　Other skills and qualifications

　　Excellent verbal and written communication/language skills required to include the ability to provide written and verbal instructions, and compile and present information clearly.

　　Proven project planning and management experience. Ability to lead a team.

　　Analytical and reasoning ability for solving problems and good judgment for complex decision-making.

　　Capable of planning and organizing work and processes; ability to self-direct multiple projects and meet deadlines.

　　Ability to cooperate and interpersonal skills to work effectively as a team member.

　　Quality orientation.

　　Motivation to provide excellent internal and external customer service.

　　Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.

　　Ability to travel to site locations as needed (10-20% of time)

　　What will your typical day look like?

　　Oversees and coordinates the analysis, evaluation, development, testing, implementation, and upgrading of software applications for Wabtec in the Stemmann Group locations (Germany, Poland).

　　Manages and directs the activities of the business analysts.

　　Analyze and document existing business processes and practices.

　　Develops system design documents and functional specifications-based business requirements.

　　Understands the business process issues and data challenges of end user's organization.

　　Identifies organization's strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement.

　　Develops “best practices” and propagates these throughout the organization.

　　Reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution.

　　Leads testing efforts, providing guidance and assistance to end users to ensure adequate and thorough quality control.

　　Completes all compliance and SOX related testing.

　　Communicates needed changes to development team.

　　Provides end user documentation and training.

　　Assists in project prioritization and management of project deadlines and schedules.

　　You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
