Summary

　　The Maintenance/Janitor is responsible for daily, weekly and monthly tasks associated with the cleaning and repair of the overall property and individual resident units. Maintenance staff is expected to maintain BRIDGE Property Management Company’s high standards in order to present the property in outstanding condition and provide residents with a safe, secure and well-maintained living environment. This position includes a rotating on-call schedule requiring arrival at the property outside of regularly scheduled hours.

　　Responsibilities

　　Must be available to be on an on-call rotation with Maintenance Supervisor

　　Cleaning and maintenance of:

　　o exterior of the property including gates, entrances, garage doors, trash pick-up and removal, etc.

　　o interior courtyards and walk ways, including light fixtures, hallways, inside windows, vents, etc.

　　o trash and garbage enclosures

　　o laundry rooms and washer/dryer equipment

　　o front lobby, community rooms and leasing office

　　o individual apartment units, including turnarounds with respect to garbage disposals, toilets, locks, painting, re-caulking, carpet cleaning

　　Work with outside vendors and contractors to fulfill work ordersQualifications

　　At least 6 months of prior experience in janitor and maintenance work, preferably in an apartment or residential setting

　　Ability to work with people in a positive and cooperative manner

　　Knowledge of and demonstrated skills in handling cleaning and maintenance equipment

　　Bilingual Spanish
