Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift.

　　Germantown, WI

　　As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining production equipment and facilities for our company, First Choice Ingredients, sites in both Germantown, WI, and Menomonee Fall. In this role, the ideal candidate will conduct various Maintenance activities (e.g., PM’s breakdowns, repairs, rebuilding, etc.) to optimize plant equipment and support the production of quality chemical intermediates, energies, and finished products to a pre-determined operations plan. This person will also perform specialized predictive and preventive maintenance equipment inspections; and troubleshoot, plan, and install and/or modify plant equipment and related systems by Key Performance Measures, Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety/regulatory requirements, and divisional goals.

　　Develop, coordinate, and provide preventive maintenance schedules.

　　Review and verify scheduled maintenance paperwork for accuracy and completion.

　　Routinely monitor the overall condition of buildings and outside grounds. Make recommendations to management.

　　Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs,

　　Performs a wide variety of general and semiskilled maintenance activities (e.g., carpentry, painting, electrical, etc.) to complete projects within established time frames.

　　Understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) throughout the plant.

　　You bring:

　　High School Diploma/Technical Degree

　　Experience in food-related industry

　　2-3 years’ experience in the industrial maintenance field

　　Maintain schedules on multiple equipment lines in a fast-paced environment.

　　Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, effectively organize work, and manage priorities.

　　Strong communication skills, verbal and written, with a variety of internal and external contacts.
