Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Diagnose and perform emergency repairs and adjustments while the line is running in timely and efficient manner Work with production line operators on changeovers and assist operators with daily operational activities Support the training of operators, technicians and others at the point of operation Assemble, install, and test new equipment Use a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions Modify/fabricate equipment to maintain and improve the production lines. Efficiently troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment Participate in clean-inspect-lubricate activities on machines regularly to detect signs of malfunctions, including visual and sound inspections Carry out routine inspection of production machines for potential malfunctions, identify defective parts and assess maintenance needs Generate and complete work orders assigned Accurately complete electronic/manual records of work performed Attend and participate in daily shift meetings Uphold visual management of the work area Follows and supports continuous improvement methodologies Strict adherence to all safety, health, and environmental policies Strict adherence to all GMP and food safety policies Perform necessary preventive maintenance on equipment as needed Completes all required training on time Other duties as assigned ​​​​​​ Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to perform mathematical calculations related to weights, measures and record keeping Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions Ability to read, speak, and write in English Required to regularly lift up to 50lbs Flexibility to work overtime and additional shifts based on business needs Desired Qualities: Collaborator - able to work with other members of the processing team Adaptive - adjusts to changing priorities and conditions Motivated - self-starter with the ability to work in a team and independently to achieve team objectives Safety conscious - abide by all safety measures put in place at Innovation Foods Customer focused - understands the need for the highest standard of food quality in production Innovation Foods is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Underrepresented Ethnic Minority Groups/Women/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity and other protected classes.
